Hello All! I was going to revisit the Rules, but decided since I was on vacation that I’d ask everyone’s opinion on writing while on vacation.

Is it something you try and do or forget all together on holiday?

I was enthusiastic. I took my computer and had really high hopes…and then the reality of three small children, a husband who wants undivided attention and fifteen other family members present-I’m starting to think writings not really going to happen.

Although, now, I have a great torture scene firmly in mind…kidding…sorta.

Now, I’m mostly okay with the no writing. I do tend to get a little fidgety and scribble my day’s thoughts down in a mini journal and I find that helps. But to take a break from writing every once and awhile can be good and refreshing. I’m enjoying the beautiful Southwest with the family and working on an awesome tan.

I’d love to know how you manage writing on vacation.
